Modica Market, a family-owned and operated gourmet and specialty market, has served the town of Seaside for over 15 years. Sarah and Charles Modica began in the grocery business more than 50 years ago in Bessemer, Alabama. In 1988, the Modicas were talked into (by town founder Robert Davis) opening their location in Seaside with their son, Charles Modica, Jr. to open Modica Market, now one of the country's leading gourmet markets serving the finest in food and wine.

The Hub is a gathering place for family and friends on beautiful Scenic Highway 30A in South Walton, Florida. The Hub is a neighborhood destination with great restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. Located on the south side of Scenic 30A at Prominence just east of the WaterSound Beach gate.

The Hub: Hughey's General Store, Crave Roadside Burgers, Mile Market Fifteen, Red's Chicken Shack and Mr. Freeze.

The large outdoor common area includes outdoor bar and seating, entertainment venue with stage for movies, music, special events, fitness classes, and more.

Join the Seaside Institute on Friday, October 16 at 5:00 p.m. to learn about "The Chattanooga Story" as presented by Rick Montague, long-time Seaside homeowner and native Chattanoogan. An open discussion about civic engagement will follow the presentation. The evening will include some Tennessee favorities: Whiskey and pork barbeque.

Your Guess is as Good as Mine! Raise your glasses to 6th annual Blind Wine event hosted by The Young Professionals at the Beach, October 8 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Seascape Resort Conference Center. Proceeds will benefit Food For Thought Outreach.
 

The crew at Idyll Hounds Brewing Company celebrates one year in South Walton with Hound Fest on Saturday, Oct 10 from 2-5pm. The brand new tap room will officially open at Hound Fest with 24 taps. Food will be served by Tucker Dukes of Niceville and live music by Zack Rosicka. Admission is $25 which gets your a festival tshirt, pint glass with first pour free, and a great time at our local brewery.

Tallahassee Blues duo Belmont & Jones will play Redd’s Fueling Station in Santa Rosa Beach on Saturday, August 2nd. The duo plays a different kind of blues than one might expect, as they go back in time to the beginning of the blues, when Ma Rainey, Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy were making records.

They draw influences from 60's and 70's artists like Bob Dylan, The Band, The Talking Heads, and The Kinks as well as modern groups like Wilco and My Morning Jacket.
