Dannica is a soul-singing, songwriting, story-telling songbird from the South. Music runs hot in her veins. Her father came from a long line of blue-grass musicians, and her mother was a poet, so the universe had already dealt her the singer/songwriter cards. When she was just 13, her grandfather gave her his old guitar. A few years later, she met a boy, who gave her more than enough to write about.

Armed with a cheap guitar, makeshift drum kit and an 8-track recorder, Reynolds crafted 2011's critically-acclaimed EP, Pure Lust. Within a few months, his unique blend of lo-fi scuzzed-out blues guitar, combined with his utterly unique vocal twang attracted much attention and glowing reviews from blog community stalwarts My Old Kentucky Blog, Aquarium Drunkard, Rollo & Grady, and Some Velvet Blog.
