Every Wednesday is music and bonfire night at The Bay at the foot of the 331 bridge in South Walton, Florida. Join your friends for this fun weekly tradition. In case of rain, the music will move to the porch. It's a fun mid week tradition in SoWal!

EC Live event and fundraiser will be held at LuLu’s Destin on Thursday, May 12, 7 p.m. At the final event the top 10 singers from the pre-qualifying rounds will compete for the grand prize valued at more than $3,500.

We are Horsing Around at Alaqua on Saturday, April 23 at Alaqua Animal Refuge (914 Whitfield Rd.) in Freeport from 12pm til 4pm to celebrate a newly born colt and all of the wonderful rescue horses at the Refuge. The festival will feature photos, tours, arts and crafts, bake sale, old fashioned lemonade stand, art silent auction, and raffle for a 16” collegiate English Hunt Saddle (valued at over $500).      

Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event or ahead of time from Alaqua Animal Refuge or Laura’s Pet and Horse Supply.

The Music in Pictures Community Festival will be held at Freeport High School Sunday, May 1 at 2pm.

Music in Pictures, presented by Rosemary Beach Foundation, is an educational project and student art contest. Students from area schools listened to and visually interpreted works by classical composers.  

Celebrate Arts in Education! Festivities include student artwork screening (slideshow of 372 paintings inspired by classical music), awards presentation, classical music performances, instrumental petting zoo, and photographs. 

The Wide Open Season Ammons to perform at Redd's Fueling Station in Blue Mountain Beach on Friday, May 6 at 7:30pm.  
 

The Wide Open is more than a band, it's an experience! Fronted by Season Ammons, Allen Rayfield and Traylin Gastonè, the group has just release their new album "We'll Get By" and are currently touring extensively to promote the album.
