The 11th annual 30A SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL is set for January 17-20 2020. The festival, held in venues along Scenic Highway 30A in Florida's South Walton County, is the perfect mix of cool beach weather and red-hot music on MLK holiday weekend each year. More than 175 artists perform in this truly wonderful weekend of music.  Artists will perform multitudes of live performances in intimate venues and large amphitheaters throughout South Walton. The inaugural Shrimp & Grits Festival takes place on Destin Harbor on Saturday February 29 from 12:00 p.m. til 4:00 p.m. The festival will showcase shrimp & grits dishes from some of your favorite local restaurants on the Emerald Coast, while benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of the Emerald Coast.  Learn more and get tickets: https://www.shrimpandgritsfest.com/. 

Valentine to 30A: All That Jazz and More featuring Escape to Create artists LIVE@TheREP on Saturday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m. With a command of Jazz, Rock, R&B, Funk, Brazilian, Fusion, and much more, Columbus, Ohio guitarist Zakk Jones teaches, performs in his dynamic Zakk Jones Trio and tours regularly with legendary artists such as the Coasters, Doc Robinson, and Chris Jamison (from ABC’s The Voice). Jazz pianist, vocalist and composer Jackie Myers is a mainstay in the Austin, Texas indie music scene.

Caroline Cotter is LIVE@TheREP on Saturday, January 25 at 7:30 p.m. With a captivating soprano voice and award-winning songwriting, Caroline Cotter’s songs take listeners all over the world and into the depths of the human heart. A prolific artist and self-taught musician now living in Maine, Cotter produced five albums while touring non-stop around the globe and teaching with the Institute of International Education.

The Escape Ensemble will perform at the REP Theatre on Saturday, January 11 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, January 12 at 2:00 p.m.

Dread Clampitt is LIVE at Stinky's Bait Shack from 7-10pm.

Blue-eyed soul grass. Hipbilly. Funky bluegrass fusion. These words have been used to describe Dread Clampitt. With clever and heartfelt lyrics, Dread combines humor and a realistic outlook of the world with the sounds of bluegrass, rock & roll, blues, jazz and some Louisiana Bayou funk.

All LIVE MUSIC at The Bay is canceled until further notice. 

Sunday Pickin' @ The Bay features Mike Whitty & Friends on stage from 3-7pm. It's a weekly jam session outdoors overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay. Come out to the Sand ol' Opry and get your cocktails at the bar or have dinner and local live music too.

Sunday Funday at The Bay all day starts with Brunch, 11am til 2pm, with several special brunch options such as chicken and waffles or crab cake benedict.

Come out to NEAT in Alys Beach for Wine & Song on Tuesdays from 5-7pm.  A few select wines will be showcased with light bites and live music. Case deals on featured wines.  Wine tasting is $20 per person, age 21 and up. Enjoy the night of music and wine. The wine tasting is optional if you prefer to order from the regular menu including wine, beer and cocktails.
