Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation Donates $2.7 Million to 15 Children’s Charities

Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF), recognized as the third largest charity wine auction in the country by Wine Spectator Magazine for the second consecutive year, donated $2.7 million to 15 local charities serving children in need in Northwest Florida. The private check presentation ceremony was held at the WaterColor LakeHouse, marking one of the Foundation’s largest charitable distributions to date.

Seaside Community Development Corporation (SCDC) has named longtime local Kerri Parker as Executive Director of Communications. The new role was established to oversee public relations, commercial leasing, and marketing strategy for SCDC. Parker has two decades of experience in marketing, including commercial leasing. The years preceding joining Seaside, Parker owned a marketing consulting company named doGooD, and held the positions of Director of Marketing for Alys Beach, Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, and 30Avenue.
