You don't have to be an artist to be part of the popular SoWal art and music festival, ArtsQuest - be a volunteer!

Do you have a love for the arts and a generous spirit? If so, the CAA would like to enlist you as a volunteer for the ArtsQuest Fine Arts & Music Festival in WaterColor. The vitality of ArtsQuest depends on the kindness and generosity of the community we serve.

New 30A Farmer's Market at Rosemary Beach Starting May 5

Starting May 5, the 30A Farmer's Market is coming to Rosemary Beach in the Town Center rain or shine, every Sunday year round from 9am-2pm and on Thursdays starting May 30 through Labor Day weekend from 9am-2pm.

The 30A Farmer's Market will feature the best of locally grown farm fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, beef, and chicken, fresh local seafood, artisan bread, homemade pastas, sauces, meatballs, BBQ sauce, local honey, grits, herbs, olive oil and vinegars, preserves, salsa's and chow-chows.

Jennifer Steele Performs Songs of Patsy Cline at Bud & Alley’s April 26

Bud & Alley’s wraps up the Spring 2013 Music Series this Friday, April 26 with Jennifer Steele performing songs of Patsy Cline. Most of us know Jennifer as the Executive Director of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) and a producer of the ArtsQuest Fine Arts & Music Festival and 30A Songwriters Festival. She was also a co-founder of the Seaside Repertory Theatre and served as the company’s Managing Director for seven years before joining the CAA.

E.O Wilson Biophilia Center Celebrates Earth Day April 20

Get out and celebrate the Earth at the Biophilia Center for the Earth Day Festival. The event will feature bluegrass music with Franko and Fiends, food, environmental demos, animal ambassadors, arts and crafts, hikes, and so much more. The Earth Day Festival starts at 10:00 a.m. and goes until 3:00 p.m. Tickets are just $2 and children under six get in free.
 

Bravo! Beat 5k Run May 11

Lace up your shoes and run for the arts in Sinfonia’s third annual Bravo! Beat 5K run/walk on Saturday, May 11 at 8 a.m., starting and ending at The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin.
 
Proceeds from the event will benefit Sinfonia Gulf Coast, our region's only fully professional symphony orchestra, and its mission to present the highest caliber live musical events throughout Northwest Florida. Sinfonia also provides music education initiatives and guest artists in the schools of Walton and Okaloosa Counties.

Do you have a love for the arts and a generous spirit?  If so, the Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) would like to enlist you as a volunteer for ArtsQuest Fine Arts & Music Festival in WaterColor, FL.  The vitality of ArtsQuest depends on the kindness and generosity of the community we serve.

Volunteers are needed Thursday, May 9 - Sunday, May 12 for all positions such as load in, merchandise tent, artist hospitality, wine booths, and ticket sales.  Please let us know if you have a preference and we will be happy to try and accommodate it.
