WaterColor Homeowners Association presents The Second Annual Easy on 30A benefit concert, on Thursday, July 18 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Marina Park Amphitheatre in WaterColor Resort. Local performers and bands will rock the green and a raffle will benefit Lighthouse Family Retreat and Alaqua Animal Refuge. Admission is free!
Independence Day festivities were postponed all along the coast due to heavy rain on July 4th this year, so The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin has plans for a big celebration this Sunday evening, July 7! Baytowne is big on fireworks on Tuesday evenings throughout the year. But, the 4th of July display is even more spectacular so everyone is looking forward to ending the holiday weekend with a bang this Sunday!
An area typically known for groundbreaking architectural inspiration and the birth of New Urbanism with its towns Seaside and Alys Beach, South Walton will now dip into the fashion world with South Walton Fashion Week on October 11-13. This inaugural event will take place in Grand Boulevard’s Town Center at Sandestin in South Walton, Florida.
In what has become a two-day star studded event, the forces of generosity were in full play at this spring’s successful Chi Chi Miguel Throwdown. Guests raised more than $825,000 for local charities along the Gulf Coast, a significant 56% increase over last year’s funds raised.

Situated on the grounds of Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse, under a canopy of old, majestic oaks, this cozy spot is the perfect place to enjoy Sunday brunch, a cold mimosa, and some sweet tunes. The 4th of July in Seaside, Florida is an all-American celebration of music, food, white beaches, flags, fireworks, and a parade through the middle of town. It just doesn't get any better. The celebration kicks off with the annual South Walton 4th of July Parade that begins in Seagrove and culminates in Seaside. Line up early along Scenic Highway 30A and be prepared for laughs and lots of loot! Locals, visitors, and generations of Seaside families help make the parade an event that is cherished.

All along South Walton Beaches is an all-American celebration every year during the first week of July. Parades, flags, watermelon and music blend perfectly with beautiful beaches and happy families.

On Thursday, May 30, 2013, Proffitt PR held its 6th Girls’ Night Out (GNO) event, GNO Does 30A at Pandora’s of Grayton Beach.
Beginning strictly as a holiday party for local women of the area just one year ago, GNO soon culminated into a signature charity event held at venues including Harbor Docks, Marlin Grill, Tuscany Italian Bistro, and The Solaris. GNO quickly garnered a loyal following of 300+ ladies. With such significant growth of the event, Proffitt PR began to incorporate a different beneficiary for each event in order to give back to the community.
