Annual Camellia Festival at Eden Gardens State Park Feb 15

The Friends of Eden present the annual Camellia Festival on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Eden Gardens State Park in Point Washington. Visitors are invited to stroll through beautiful camellias in full bloom throughout the grounds of the park, enjoy a camellia floral arrangement demonstration, learn air layering, (a camellia propagating technique), and camellia waxing for bloom preservation.

Annual Valentine Tour of Homes Opens Doors Feb 15-16

Valentine’s weekend typically means romantic dinners and flowers for most, but it also signals the beloved annual Valentine Tour of Homes hosted by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA). The tour showcases stunning interiors, architecturally acclaimed homes and picturesque settings on Saturday, Feb.15 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m and Sunday, Feb. 16 from 12 – 4 p.m.

Generations: A Collection of Black American Music Feb. 27 & 28

Generations: A Collection of Black American Music appears February 27 & 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the mainstage theater of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center on the Niceville campus of Northwest Florida State College, at 100 College Boulevard, East. The unique stage production pays homage to some of the most influential African American artists of the past, present and future and features the songs of Aretha Franklin, The Jacksons, Earth, Wind and Fire, and many more.

Seaside Hosts Job Fair Feb 11

The town of SEASIDE® will be hosting a one-day job fair Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in SEASIDE® at 121 Central Square (at the entrance between Modica Market and Pizitz).

There will be an opportunity to meet with SEASIDE® merchants currently hiring job seekers for part-time, full-time and seasonal positions. Employers will be on hand with a list of job openings available in the areas of hospitality, retail, recreation, swim and tennis, restaurant, maintenance and others.
