Joanna & Jimmy ... two awesome songwriters/musicians doing what they do best ... singing their songs. Food plates by Grayton Beach Catering - Chicken and Steak Tacos with all the fixins. http://www.graytevents.com
It's been one of the busiest summers in South Walton history. The cars full of visitors have come in waves just like the surf in the gulf, but there's no lull in the visitor waves until school starts back in Atlanta, Birmingham, New Orleans Houston...
Meawhile the crowds clamor for the food and fun times at the Red Bar in Grayton Beach. Can you call it a hidden gem? Almost anyone who has heard of SoWal has heard of the Red Bar. But if you get a puzzled look from someone when you mention Grayton Beach in Chicago then you better believe the Red Bar is a hidden gem to them.
Come on out on Wednesday night to the Alys Beach Amphitheater from 7 to 9PM to jam with two of our favorite local musicians - Kelsey Anna and Chris Alvarado - together for one night only and it's FREE! Bud and Alley's is an incredible venue by the gulf - with seating by the dunes and a rooftop bar with sunset views. What more could you ask for than SoWal's own Kelsey Anna belting out her tunes and frequent visitors Larkin Poe with a backdrop of crystal clear water and beach umbrellas?
The Seaside Repertory Theatre Presents "The Bryan Kennedy Show"! Bryan is a well-known singer/songwriter with Nashville-music roots and several hit songs by country music mega-star Garth Brooks ("Honky Tonk Bar Association," "Beaches of Cheyenne," and more).
This is a great show at one of our favorite venues. Make sure you get tickets before they're all gone.
“Michelle Malone has the soul of a bluesman, the heart of a folk singer, and the guts of a rock and roller all wrapped up in one fiery bad ass.” -NASHVILLE RAGE
It's an amazing venue right on the gulf in Seaside and one of our favorite places to see music. The second show in the Bud & Alley's Music Series features Larkin Poe with a full band and local favorite Kelsey Anna.
Did you know that ArtsQuest began 24 years ago in Grayton Beach? It was known then as the Grayton Beach Fine Arts Festival, and it lived in Grayton Beach for seven years. On the 20th anniversary of ArtsQuest, the Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) decided to start a tradition of having a reunion event, bringing friends of the Festival, old and new, back to Grayton during ArtsQuest. This year, there are two opportunities to get together, reminisce, hear great music and storytelling, eat delicious food and just enjoy the laid-back, funky vibe of historic Grayton Beach.
It all started with some sharkskin suits and Otis Redding tunes more than twelve years ago. Since that point, the members of the The Legendary J.C.’s have ridden a wave of press accolades and flocks of dedicated fans to a point where they are soaring.
