Hell's Bay Boatworks will be at The Bay offering TEST RIDES for guests February 24th from 2-5pm. Oyster City Brewing Company will be pouring ice cold local brews & Casey Kearney Music will be jammin' on the beach all day! Talk about your ultimate day on the bay!

Hell's Bay Boatworks was formed by renowned Florida fishing guide Flip Pallot, along with visionary boat designer Chris Morejohn with one goal in mind … to build the finest fishing boats ever conceived. Merely improving conventional designs was not good enough. They wanted to make sweeping changes in design and construction that would revolutionize the shallow water fishing industry.

Today Hell’s Bay Boatworks is still led by a team of dedicated fishermen, outdoorsmen and adventurers. This team is guided by Capt. Chris Peterson and his wife Wendi Peterson. Chris not only brings years of on-the-water experience, but has a depth of business experience leading companies and large organizations for more than 20 years. All of the department leads at Hell’s Bay have been with the the company for more than five years and have a proven dedication to creating the finest skiffs available. Everyone at Hell’s Bay is passionate about what they create and their passion shows in the final product of a Hell’s Bay skiff.

Bonfire and live music every Wednesday night with various local musicians on the beach at The Bay starting 6pm! It's a midweek tradition in SoWal.

Sunday Pickin' @ The Bay featuring Mike Whitty & Friends from 2-6pm. It's a jam session outdoors overlooking the bay. Happy hour is 4-6pm with half off cocktails and wine by the glass and $1 off beer. Come out to the Sand ol' Opry by car, bike, board, boat or plane! Guest pickers are always welcome!

Sunday Funday at The Bay all day starts with Brunch ~ 11AM-2PM with several special brunch options such as chicken and waffles or crab cake benedict.

The Bay also hosts a fun mid week tradition locals love on Wednesday nights with live music and a bonfire on the beach. Each season brings celebration and special events with music to the waterfront restaurant located at the foot of the 331 bridge in SoWal. Some excellent shows coming up for the weekly bonfire/music night and now Sunday afternoons by the bay. Come out for cocktails at the bar or enjoy dinner and local live music too.

The Bay is an award-winning, yet casual waterfront restaurant and bar created by Chef Jim Shirley with a reputation for serving some of the best grub in South Walton. But the hot spot’s namesake is what brought us there in the first place - the majestic Choctawhatchee (chock-tuh-hatch-ee) Bay of South Walton.
