Join a Ranger for a hike on the Heron Pond Trail. Participants will take a .6 mile hike through the grasslands and flat woods along scenic Grand Lagoon.
This Ranger guided hike will take participants through various plant communities along Grand Lagoon and will provide hikers with the opportunity to view various wildlife that call North Florida home. All of our trails are pet friendly, so bring your dog out to enjoy this outdoor adventure!
Please wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes. It is also recommended to bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Reservations are not necessary, and participation in the program is included with the park entrance fee of $4 for a vehicle with single occupancy or $8 for a vehicle with 2-8 occupants.
St. Andrews State Park is consistently one of the most popular and most visited state parks in Florida -- Given that Dr. Beach has also called it the Best Beach in America, it's no wonder!
Florida State Parks are treasures waiting for your discovery!
