South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival presents a weekend of great wines, fine foods, live music from national artists, culinary celebrities and more, April 28 - May 1, 2016 at Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. 
 

SATURDAY, APRIL 30
VIP Wine Tasting
11 AM – 1 PM | Grand Park
For the ultimate wine experience, the VIP Wine Tasting has top wine celebrities presenting and pouring rare and collectable wines. Food tastings from fabulous Grand Boulevard and South Walton restaurants. Receive your own commemorative Riedel glass round out this exclusive tasting. Express entry to Saturday’s Grand Tasting is included in ticket price.

Destin Charity Wine Auction Reserve Tasting
1 PM – 3 PM | Auction Central
This kick-off to the annual wine auction allows guests to enjoy fantastic reserve wines while perusing the silent auction items, including fabulous vacation trips and collectable wines. Part of the Destin Charity Wine Auction.

Grand Tasting
1 PM – 5 PM
Town Center and Culinary Village
It’s all about the wine! It truly is all about the quality, diversity and scope of wines being offered and the skills and relevance of the people bringing them to you. Over 800 wines will be available at the Grand Tasting, Savor South Walton Culinary Village, tasting seminars, Champagne Lane, Spirits Row, chef demos and live entertainment.

Champagne Lane
1 PM – 5 PM | Town Center
Special guests and wine celebrities will walk you through Champagne Lane, featuring the finest Champagnes and sparkling wines. This festive addition greets festival attendees as you walk into the event. Taste delicious Champagnes and sparkling wines, sign up for giveaways and, of course, delight in the bubbles, literally!

Tasting Seminars
1 PM – 5 PM | Savor South Walton Culinary Village in North Park
Tasting Seminars take place throughout the Grand Tastings in Savor South Walton Culinary Village. Learn the back stories while you taste new and exciting wines and libations during one of the entertaining tasting seminars taking place on Saturday. Learn how to select and pair wines with food. Sample fine and rare wines and spirits.

Destin Charity Wine Auction
3 PM | Auction Central
This unparalleled charity event raises money for children in need in Northwest Florida and was named a “Top 10 Charity Wine Auction” by Wine Spectator magazine. Nashville Songwriters Showcase
Throughout the Day | Town Center
During the Grand Wine Tasting, the top songwriters from Nashville will perform their hit songs as part of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association’s (FRLA) Endless Summer Songwriters Series.

South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival

Taste as many of the 800 bottles of wine as you like, paired with delicious food selected to go with all varieties of wines in the Savor South Walton Culinary Village. 

A prestigious lineup of celebrity winemakers, including wine superstar Cristina Mariani-May, Family Proprietor and co-CEO of Banfi Vintners, and Ronan Laborde of Chateau Clinet, known as the “Pomerol Superstar,” are among the headliners at the annual event.

Proceeds from the festival benefit Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, which was named a Top 10 Wine Charity Auction by Wine Spectator magazine. Destin Wine Charity Auction Foundation supports children’s charities in Northwest Florida.
