Oh yes, definitely.

We learned a valuable lesson from a couple down the street; they shelled out $40K a piece and battled it out, then ultimately decided to reconcile.

Now that's nuts.

I feel like people are getting married later...like in their late 20's/early 30's. And in turn, you are making more money. So why not blow the top off your wedding.

And in the great words of Gfunn..."Wedding? You've already spent that money."

I'm working on the honeymoon now.:clap_1:

I agree with you Audie, there's no difference in the committment whether you spend $30,000 or $300. I got married in a $75.00 dress from a thrift store and my husband wore a borrowed suit. We invited a few friends and family to the donated church facility and cooked out in the back yard for the "reception". We had a blast, and it wasn't a shotgun wedding either...I wasn't even pregnant! :blush: It's really the promise to God that matters. :love:
