Stop and ask yourself would Rep Wilson have had the same outburst had the president been white? Would we all be much more outraged at his actions had our president been white?
The thing is that racism is tricky and does not look like it did 20 years ago but it is still here. I seriously doubt that we would have allowed the president of the United States to be so disrespected had it been Reagan or Clinton standing up there. And that is racism. Respect your president people.

I think so. I believe his outburst was regarding the health proposals and illegals and not racist.

That does not mean, after reading this congressman's background, that I would believe that he doesn't have a racist bone in his body though.

I agree, I can see Wilson making the same statement with Hillary at the healm. I really didn't see recism in his statement, I saw frustration.

Thanks Fisher. I agree regarding Carter's presidency. He was the worst President of my lifetime. Doesn't everyone remember the '80's. Come one, come all - murderers, thieves, drug smugglers. Yes, you are all welcome to live in the United States.

I care what he thinks and he is absolutely right. The degree of hostility and racism on the right is unacceptable. I won't call them conservatives because that proud ideology is dead. It has been replaced by the shrill hate we see from the so called religious right. I expect to see sheets being worn at these republican gatherings soon.
