No I am naturally lazy and probably need a vanity injection soon or I will be in sweatpants 24/7.

Well, IMO you are a natural beauty who doesn't need makeup. I've seen you in Publix after running remember! Don't change!

Regarding makeup. I like to think of treatments rather than much makeup.

My two biggest tips are: face exercises - brings the blood flowing and firms and tightens - been doing them for years now. Great for stress too!

And for makeup - applying a good non greasy sunscreen and just using an artist brush to touch concealer on any spots that need attention. If I use any makeup base it is brush on generic minerals. That goes for eyes too.

I hardly wear it since we've moved here (or fix my hair good grief!) but when I do, that's about what it amounts to.

I love the following sites for skin care and natural makeup:

skin care, actives, skin care product, natural skin care, serious skin care, organic skin care, skin care information DMAE 4% is so great for firming

Facial Exercise: FlexEffect Facialbuilding Before/After Photos A Must See. < exercises for face

iHerb.com - Vitamins, Supplements & Natural Health Products < natural makeup, skin care and actually lots of natural stuff $5 off first order w/code EPE027

As I get older - I realize that less is best when it comes to makeup!

LOL on SWGB's photo. Is that stuff waterproof??? ;-)

Maybe I need a whole SoWal beauty day.:D

I'm so in! But can we wait until the 3rd degree burns all over my body subside? Red lipstick would so not go with my current skin tone...:wave:

I find Spackle works great.

:lolabove::lie: Oh, puh-leez! You know you're gorgeous, DD!

The Gidg speaks the truth!

The thrill was gone when I realized the meth whore at the beginning of a Breaking Bad episode was wearing the exact same shoes. :sosad:

You SO wore them bettah!:D

You guys crack me up! And I'm so glad you started this thread, Alicia! I always love to hear what other people are doing and get fresh ideas... Lovin' the info, gals (and guys)!

I'm not really sure what Rapunzel uses on me, I'm pretty sure it's the cheap stuff though.

The cheap stuff? I think not! SWGB, you wear Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and Loose Powder, and Laura Mercier Secret Camoflage concealer, and Bare Minerals bronzer. You, like AL, wear Nars blush in Orgasm, and you use Lancome eyeshadow and Urban Decay eyeliner.

So I need a Punzy lesson. I can dig that. Wonder what she charges:D

Funny enough, I charge a margarita!

I like mineral makeup, too...but like you I thought it made my pores look big and just generally didn't like the texture of Bare Minerals. We are about the same age, and I think we came of age in the 80's and like our make-up matte and porcelain looking. The glowy/dewy thing is hard for us.

If you really are having makeup settle into your pores I recommend you get your hands on two products post haste -- first, Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque Buy Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque, Mint Julep Online at drugstore.com and second, Dr. Houschka Normalizing Day Oil. https://store.drhauschka.com/b2c/ecom/ecomEnduser/items/itemDetail.aspx?&page=&store=&itemNum=NDO&siteId=1&bulkexists=0 The mask is great for removing pore clogging gunk, and the oil absorbs quickly and will make your skin produce less oil. It's miracle product.

I love Laura Mercier's pressed mineral makeup. It has a more matte finish without looking powdery, and since it's pressed it doesn't end up all over your bathroom! I also recently got the Orgasm Multiple, and I don't love it. It's too light and too dry to wear on your lips and it is more of a highlighter for your cheeks rather than a blush. I prefer yellow tones in highlighter like T. LeClerc's Banane T. LeClerc Pressed Powder - Banane | DERMAdoctor.

I recently parted ways with my long stand-by mascara. I've been using Diorshow for years, ever since Chanel discontinued Drama Lash. Well, Lancome (same parent company as Chanel) recently introduced Hypnose Drama Mascara, and I thought maybe, maybe it was the same as Drama Lash. It's not -- it's better. It's a similar formula with a better brush and I love, love it. Sephora: Lancome HYPNÔSE DRAMA Instant Full Body Volume Mascara: MascaraI'm also a fan of Laura Mercier's Courtisanne and Healthy Lips lipsticks.

Another miracle product since you brought up eyebrows -- Anastacia stencils. Sephora: Anastasia Brow Ex-press: Eyebrow Enhancers These were lifesavers when I had a bad wax experience and they helped me grow my eyebrows back in the right shape.

Yes! Love the Queen Helene Mint Julep! I used to use that all the time, but I had forgotten all about it... Gotta go get me some, now!

I know you'd never let Up&Up or Equate brand makeup grace this beautiful skin. I just had no clue what it was and knew I could either lure you out or skunzy would stumble across this thread and relay the info.

Love the makeup and will never change ArtEEsts. ;-)
