Lord help my time...I sure don't want to get on her bad side. :boxing:

I think people might have underestimated the power of Sarah Palin. I have voted Democrat and Republican, always going with who I thought was the best person instead of a party. While I was fired up about Hillary and hope she will run in 2012, this is what I find exciting about Sarah's appeal, while I don't agree with her on all her viewpoints, she is dynamic, not afraid to play with the big boys and has the potential to change what has been typically not available to women and a mother of 5 kids! I loved her accent too! Before anyone knocks me down for it, that is just one little thing that made it even more enjoyable to listen to her message. When she said she would be an advocate for special needs, that tugged at my heart.
I will reserve judgment until the debates but at first blush, the rose is pretty sweet (with thorns!)
You do realize she is a VP candidate? Would you vote for a prez based on who the VP candidate is? Or are you looking for a way to justify a decision you're already leaning toward?
My point goes back to your post above. A little rehab won't help us take on nations which have more smart people than our entire population. That is scary. Sure, it would help us to set more positive examples in the world, but if we individuals don't get off our keesters, we will quickly begin to suffer economically as a Country, and we all know that the economy is what keeps the Gov't grinding.
My mom was a big fan of Hillary, but Biden was her choice for Pres., early in the race. She never liked Obama. I'll get her newest thoughts soon. I'm curious to know.
Not true. Hillary wants to place a penalty tax on the oil companies for making too much money. Palin heavily taxed the oil companies in Alaska, though for a source of revenue for the government in Alaska, not for penalties for making too much money.
