What a historical ballot. Me, Obama, and Palin. This is great!

you are hysterical wr!
Let me say that last night I watched the post Obama coverage on MSNBC. The network's political coverage is horrendous now that Tim Russert is gone. CNN is by far the best out there.
the only tv source of news in this household.
BOB!:nono1:

Charlie Crist would have been quite willing to don his blonde wig and strappy sandals if he had known McCain wanted a woman for a running mate.
quote of the day! week! month!! year!!!

I don't for a minute believe that picking Palin means McCain is progressive. He will still be anti-choice; still want to drill even when he knows it won't work; still continue to solve every foreign policy question with a war; and still not know anything about the economy.
She may help him get back to his Maverick approach and that will be good.
I will be surprised if many women who supported Hillary Clinton will vote for McCain just because he chose another woman. In fact, I think there is a chance that just the opposite will be true: if they can not have Hillary, they certainly don't want some other woman to be first.
It does makes for an interesting race though.
as always - you have spoken my mind.
so far, I am very impressed with Palin in many ways, despite her gun-toting ultra conservative ways. such beauty and brains! she is the ultimate woman. and she is totally hot. she will definitely provide a fresh look and feel to mccain's campaign.
I think the republican pick is brilliant in some ways
especially the woman factor. but its very risky in other really important ways, such as leadership qualifications.
I'm with Bob and others in that I definitely question whether this pick was the best possible pick for the party, for the country.
