Animoré Weekend at Alaqua Animal Refuge Sep 20-21

Animoré Weekend kicks off on Friday, September 20th, with Alaqua Animal Refuge’s 8th Annual 100 Point + Cult Wine Dinner. Beginning at 5pm at Alaqua in Freeport, Florida, this is an evening of luxe savoring and sipping, a fête is not to be missed.

This exclusive evening is a one-of-a-kind experience for only 100 wine enthusiasts. The elegant affair begins with a cocktail reception and an intimate musical performance, followed by an exquisite, four-course, al fresco dinner perfectly paired with distinctive and stellar wines by Chef Michael Sichel, head chef and sommelier at Raw + Juicy.

Guests will also have exclusive access to both a silent auction and a live auction with all funds raised supporting Alaqua and its mission to provide shelter, safety, and second chances to animals in need. As an added bonus this year, guests will be treated to General Admission tickets to the Bluegrass Barn Jam the next day.

Animoré Weekend continues at Alaqua Animal Refuge with the introduction of the Bluegrass Barn Jam on Saturday, September 21st. Gates open for the outdoor music festival at 1:00pm and the first act begins at 1:30pm. Fun for the entire family, the Barn Jam will include a wide variety of food trucks, beverages, a silent auction, animals, and seating options from general admission to exclusive VIP Patrons.

The Bluegrass Barn Jam features multiple performances from nationally- and regionally-recognized Bluegrass acts across multiple stages on the sprawling Alaqua property. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chair(s) for the daytime performances. The event is rain or shine.
