Love All Food for Thought Tennis Benefit at WaterColor October 5

September 26, 2012 by SoWal Staff

Nine million children in the US live in food-insecure households.  Walton County is fortunate to have Food For Thought Outreach, Inc., a local charity dedicated to feeding hungry school children so they don’t have to worry where their next meal is coming from.

Tennis players have an opportunity to both donate to this worthy cause and have fun on the courts at the 2nd Annual Love All Tennis Round Robin benefiting Food for Thought.  Hosted by WaterColor Tennis, the Love All event will be held on Friday, October 5 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the WaterColor courts. New this year are a luncheon provided by Beachy Beach Realty and a silent auction featuring merchandise and services donated by local businesses.

If you register by September 30, the donation is $25 and $30 thereafter.  Early registration is suggested as space is limited to the first 40 players signed-up.

WaterColor Tennis will serve as a drop-off point for Food for Thought during the Love All event and will accept cash & food donations.  Suggested items include peanut butter & jelly, canned tuna, instant oatmeal, non-sugary cereals, and healthy snacks; no glass, please.

Registration checks payable to Food for Thought Outreach should be mailed to Beachy Beach 30A at 5410 East County Highway 30A, #103, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.  Local merchants who’d like to donate auction items should contact Hilary Farnum at 850.685.0171. All proceeds benefit Food for Thought Outreach, Inc.
