CVHN Dental Clinic Honors Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation

Children's Volunteer Health Network (CVHN) names treatment room in its CVHN Dental Clinic in honor of Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF). DCWAF awarded CVHN $179,000 in 2012 and a total of $395,000 since 2008. The funds have been utilized to support two of CVHN's major programs, the CVHN Dental Clinic and the 'Just for Grins' Mobile Dental Clinic, and other projects that help local uninsured and underinsured children gain access to medical, dental and mental health care services.

"CVHN's partnership with DCWAF has been tremendous. The financial support provided by DCWAF has allowed our Mobile Dental Clinic, 'Just for Grins,' to treat more than 2,000 children and has provided critical funding needed for repairs," said Zach Billingsley, CVHN's Executive Director. It has also facilitated the new stand-alone CVHN Dental Clinic in treating more than 200 kids in its first year open. "This support is not only cleaning and repairing teeth, it is taking pain away and giving these kids a reason to smile again."
