Alys Beach 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run September 1

Join the fun at the Alys Beach 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run on Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Alys Beach, Florida. Located along Scenic Hwy 30A, the course winds through the beautiful town. The event also features an oversized obstacle course for kids of all ages and will end with music, food, and beverages available in the Amphitheatre. The price to participate in the certified 5K is $35 and $10 for the 1 Mile Fun Run (kids 12 and younger only, please).
 

The 5K is limited to 375 participants and the 1 Mile Fun Run is limited to 200 participants. To sign up visit HERE.
 

If you choose to donate, you will be benefitting The Alys Foundation. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to support the long-term community values of Alys Beach. Funds can be used to finance community, environmental, cultural and educational programs at Alys Beach as well as to help other nonprofit organizations in the greater Walton County community.  Proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the Alys Beach Elementary School.
 

A few reminders:

  • T-shirts will be provided with each registration, however, shirt sizes are not guaranteed.
  • No dogs or strollers are allowed in the race.
  • On the day of the race, please park along the slip roads that run parallel to 30A or at Fonville Press.
  • Water will be provided.
  • Packet pick up time is on Saturday, August 31 at the Amphitheatre from 10a.m.-2p.m.  Advanced registration closes on August 30.  If any race registrations remain, they will be sold on Saturday, August 31 from 10-2p.m. at $50 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 Mile Fun Run.

Event Schedule and Times The 5K Race begins at 8 a.m. and the 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Amphitheatre. Please arrive 30 minutes early upon the day of the race.
