Sinfonia Gulf Coast Presents 2nd Annual Wine, Women & Shoes Feb 7-9

Sinfonia" invites="" ladies="" put="" their="" to="" with="">Wine, Women & Shoes at Sandestin, Feb. 7-9, 2014. This exciting weekend includes outstanding food, fine wine and high-fashion events. Serving the region with a professional symphony orchestra, Sinfonia presents the Second Annual Wine, Women & Shoes event to help fund much-needed music education and music initiatives throughout the community.

On Thursday, January 16 at 11:30 a.m., Sinfonia will present a preview “Sole Sisters Lunch” at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse located in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. The luncheon will feature dazzling jewelry from Destin Jewelers, a fashion preview courtesy of W by Worth, door prizes and a delectable culinary experience courtesy of Fleming’s Chef Partner Innocent Utomi. Tickets are $50 each and include all food and gratuities.

The Wine Women and Shoes event weekend will kick off on Friday, Feb. 7, with multiple Vintner Dinners hosted in elegant homes and restaurants throughout the region. Some of the country’s best vineyards such as Blackbird, Swanson, Ferrari Sparkling, Pott, Jericho Canyon, Orin Swift, Peter Lehman, Justin, Lola, Pali and Peju, will be paired with recognized chefs. The evening's culinary maestros include regional chefs Tim Creehan of Cuvee Bistro, Ken Duenas of Café Thirty-A, Paul Stellato of Firefly, Gary Serafin of Emerald Coast Catering, Nikhil Abavula of Roux 30A, Christopher Holbrook of Signature Catering 30A, Jude Tauzin, Executive Chef for Tony Chachere and Jude Wilmoth, Chef/Owner of Restaurant Cook in St. Helena, California.

Wine, Women and Shoes signature event will be on Sunday, Feb. 9 from 2-5 pm in the Magnolia Ballroom at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. Patrons can expect an extravaganza of fashion, wine and retail (shoes) sales, silent auction, wine tastings, sole mates (shoe guys), delectable hors d’oeuvres and a fashion show from W by Worth and Dennis & Company. All-inclusive tickets are $65 or $100 for VIP reserved table seating and champagne/dessert service during the fashion show.

Sinfonia Gulf Coast was founded in 2005 on Florida's Northwest Gulf Coast with the mission of redefining the symphony experience. More than 750 families have benefited from Sinfonia’s Students4FREE program, which provides complimentary tickets to live orchestral performances and musical events. Wine Women & Shoes is one of the fastest-growing event series in the country. The events are festive and always for a noble cause. Inspired by the classic country ballad “Wine, Women and Song,” Elaine Honig, a scion of the prominent California wine producing family, created the event. Now in its ninth year, the WW&S team has produced over 120 events, which have helped net an astounding $15 million for various non-profits across the country.
