Local Catch Spices Up Summer Menu and Music

Local Catch Bar and Grill is kicking off summer in SoWal with new menu items, drink specials, and a lively music schedule. Existing beloved fare will stay true to its delicious form - like the SoWal Staff favorite fried chicken sandwich dripping with mouthwatering buffalo sauce. Here’s the insider’s guide to what’s happening now at Local Catch.
 

What’s New on the Menu: Local Catch has put a spin on an American classic with their Hot Dog de Jour, consisting of Seafood Dogs and Andouille Sausages stuffed right in the kitchen. The Seafood Dog filled with lobster, crab, shrimp, and bread crumbs is like a crab cake in a casing, while the Andouille Sausage adds a little spice to the menu. Both are served alongside homemade tortilla chips and Pico de Gallo, a favorite among regulars.

Other new menu items merge Southern, Coastal classics with emerging foodie trends. Start off with Who Dat Shrimp featuring Fresh Gulf Shrimp wrapped in bacon, tossed in Crystal Buerre Blanc, and served with cabbage salad and a sweet gastrique. Then, test out the new Vegas Steak served with caramelized onion butter and truffle aioli with house fries. 

Drink Specials: Happy hour goes down five days a week at Local Catch, Monday – Friday from 3-5pm. Quench your thirst on the most popular Signature Cocktails, including: The Local Catch with Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea Vodka and Lemonade;  The Salty Dog with Ketel 1 Vodka & Fresh Grapefruit Juice in a salt rimmed glass; and The Mile 4 Margarita with Chilled Don Julio, Grand Mariner, and sweet and sour.

Live Music: Local Catch’s identity rests firmly in the fact that they have great food, great drinks, and a great time. Sunday Funday music is booked solid through November, with Forrest Williams playing every other Sunday, giving a whole new meaning to endless summer.
