Metamorphosis Fundraiser At Alys Beach April 1
March 12, 2022 by SoWal Staff
Gurufish is bringing back their signature “pharmaceutical-grade funk” to South Walton on April 1st, headlining the Metamorphosis fundraiser for the Point Washington Medical Clinic (PWMC).
Metamorphosis marks the PWMC’s 5th Birthday and celebrates the transformation in progress from a pop-up clinic to a new stand-alone facility. The event is from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. on Kelly Green in Alys Beach on Friday, April 1st, and is presented by Emerald Coast Title Services with additional support from The Alys Foundation, Fishers Flowers & Events, York Developments, and Ophelia.
General admission tickets are $50 / person in advance and $60 / at the door (if available). Tickets are on sale now at thepwmc.org. Attire is as funky as you feel! Wigs encouraged. Bring your own chair and don’t forget your dancing shoes!
There will be a cash bar and food trucks including Taco 30A, Café Rico, and Holi on Wheels - all with delicious offerings available for purchase.
Funds raised will be used towards the clinic’s planned stand alone facility. The new 4,750 square foot building includes space for six examination rooms, a conference area, teaching kitchen, meeting room, dental suite with a separate entrance/exit, dispensary, and inviting lobby with an educational library.
New services and programming planned will include preventative education, primary care, dental care and more. This will transform the clinic into a "one-stop shop" for comprehensive patient care, continuing our mission of providing quality primary care, while expanding to include specialty services, dentistry and wellness education.
Metamorphosis sponsorships are available, please email info@thepwmc.org for more information. The event will be outdoor and socially distanced. As we do in the clinic, our team and volunteers will follow all medically approved best practices to protect the health and safety of everyone in attendance. As guidelines continue to evolve, we will provide updates to attendees via our pre-event emails.
