Mardi Gras festivities kick off this weekend in South Walton and along the Emerald Coast of Florida with parades, live music and parties in some of our beach towns, restaurants and bars. From Stinky's Fish Camp's Mardi Gras Headquarters, Baytowne's Mardi Gras Dog Parade and Fat Tuesday Baytowne Bash, to Mardi Gras Masquerade & Fireworks Festival at Destin Commons and outdoor concerts and rooftop parties. Grab your beads and head out to celebrate Mardi Gras at the beach from now til Fat Tuesday. Laissez bon temps rouler!

Show off your furry loved ones in the 16th Annual Mardi Gras Dog Parade on Sunday, March 3rd at 2pm. This year's theme is Bone Appetit. Benefiting Alaqua Animal Refuge.

Fat Tuesday Baytowne Bash Parade | Tuesday, March 5 | 5pm
Celebrate Fat Tuesday at the 17th Annual Fat Tuesday Baytowne Bash Parade on March 5th at 5pm. Unique and colorful floats, golf carts, and pick-up trucks roll down the streets. Dress in your Mardi Gras best, and shower parade goers with a barrage of beads, moon-pies, and other trinkets. Mardi Gras Masquerade @ Destin Commons

Enjoy a family evening full of Mardi Gras fun at the annual Destin Commons Mardi Gars Masquerade on Saturday, March 1. Live entertainment for the whole family from 6-8pm with the parade starting at 7pm. Come watch a non-stop line up of over 30 floats and people on parade throughout the entire property! Festivities include live concerts, Fat Tuesday Street Fair, Kidz Zone, float tours, costume contests, parades, a 5K run, fireworks and more. This free event is kid friendly and open to the public. HarborWalk Village Parades
Mardi Grad Parade | Saturday, March 2 | 2pm
The 11th Annual Mardi Gras Parade takes place at HarborWalk Village on the Destin Harbor on Saturday, March 2 starting at 2pm. Enjoy dazzling floats, colorful costumes, beads, street performers and live music. The parade rolls through the Destin Harbor Boardwalk at 2pm followed by the lively cajun/zydeco tunes of Fais Do Do on the main stage.

Fat Tuesday Celebration & Pet Costume Contest | Tuesday, March 5 | 5-8pm
Celebrate Mardi Gras and revel in the fun at HarborWalk Village and enjoy flavorful red beans and rice starting at 5pm. Bring your furry friends to the 3rd Annual Mardi PAWS Costume Contest as local judges award 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes. Contest entry: $10 donation or bag of dry dog food for Alaqua Animal Refuge.
