Vern Yip Teams with Local Builder for Cottages for Kids

November 15, 2013 by SoWal Staff

Last year Ryan Pfneisel of Heritage Builders teamed up with The Merchants of Rosemary Beach for Cottages for Kids and created "Torre de Juego" (Tower of Play). This year he has teamed up with interior designer Vern Yip to create a cottage entitled "Kid Comfort". Vern designed it based on his Gulf view home Ryan just completed in Rosemary Beach. The home will be featured next year on HGTV, and will be available to rent after the new year from Barefoot Vacations.

"We enjoy working with Children's Volunteer Network (CVHN) and being part of an event and organization that brings the community together. Cottages for Kids exposes everyone to the good works of CVHN," says Ryan.

Vern Yip is a host, designer, and judge on HGTV, Founder of Vern Yip Designs, sells exclusive Vern Yip Home products on HSN, is a UNICEF Ambassador, a monthly contributor to the Washington Post, and periodically appeared on TLC's Trading Spaces.

Ryan began working in the SoWal area at the age of 12 with his father, learning all aspects of the construction market, and as an adult founded Heritage Builders in 1989. Since that time, his firm has established a reputation of quality craftsmanship and professionalism. For more info visit www.myheritagebuilders.com.
