Viritual Hands Across the Sand May 16

May 13, 2020 by SoWal Staff

Virtual Hands Across the Sand takes place on Saturday May 16, 2020! Check in to Hands Across the Sand on Facebook to virtually join hands to continue our march towards cleaner energy options, celebrate our beaches, and defend our shores from offshore drilling.  Share the love!

Due to the Covid-19 CDC guidelines, Hands Across the Sand 2020 will take place online. We want to keep up the momentum in our focus to say NO to filthy fuels processes and YES to clean energy! Please join us on May 16th for a FB Virtual event. This event will run for two hours and consists of a compilation of videos we have received from events over the last 11 years!

There will be pictures of lines symbolically drawn in the sand and messages from some of our sponsoring organizations! Videos are from organizers around the globe; Belize to Greece, and Hawaii to New York!

Our event is dedicated to all who organize and participate every year! Please share our event page and tag your policy makers on Saturday.
