Watersound Club and Camp Creek Golf Updates & Info

11/16/21 (updates below) - The Watersound Camp Creek community is St. Joe’s newest residential development. We recently took a tour of all the exciting new construction happening adjacent the community at Watersound Club and Camp Creek Golf Course.

The new subdivision is ideally located off South Watersound Parkway adjacent to Camp Creek golf course and the new Watersound Club amenities that are currently being constructed. The community is within a short walk, bike or golf cart ride to Scenic Highway 30A and the Gulf of Mexico and to the developing Watersound Town Center and Publix Supermarket under construction. The gated community with a restriction on short-term rentals is planned for a total of 262 homesites ranging from approximately ¼ acre to just under one acre in size.

Ownership in the Watersound Camp Creek community requires membership in Watersound Club, St. Joe’s private membership club. Club members enjoy access to Camp Creek golf course, Shark’s Tooth golf course, Watersound Beach Club, private air charter service and the future club amenities currently under construction adjacent to the community.

Progress is fast-paced and excitement is building for the  $52 million dollar expansion project at Camp Creek golf course in Watersound. The exclusive members only club is expanding the golf facilities, adding a brand new 75-room upscale boutique inn, and developing a variety of first-class amenities for the entire family - the addition of a health and wellness center with state-of-the-art locker rooms, steam rooms, whirlpools, and saunas; a 6,500 sq ft pool with zero-entry, 18-foot water slide, and a 270-foot lazy river; a Kids Club for teens including an outdoor playground and multi-sport field; nine Har-Tru tennis courts with a stadium-style court for tournaments; tennis pro shop; and additional pickle ball, bocce ball, and basketball courts.
