Wednesday Night Concerts Return to Baytowne in March

February 26, 2013 by SoWal Staff

Wednesday Night Concert Series is back at The Village of Baytowne Wharf each week at the Events Plaza from 6pm to 8pm. Come out Wednesday nights during March with your chairs/blankets to relax and enjoy some great music with family and friends. Free admission and open to the public.

March 6 Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials
Mixing smoking slide guitar boogies and raw-boned Chicago shuffles with the deepest slow-burners, Lil' Ed and his blistering Blues Imperials deliver the blues. Not since the heyday of Hound Dog Taylor & The HouseRockers has a blues band made such a consistently joyful noise. Currently celebrating 24 rip-roaring years together, Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials ply their musical talents with skills that have been honed to a razor's edge.

March 13 Heritage
Don't miss this performance by one of our favorite local bands! Rising from the back yards of Okaloosa County, Florida, Heritage broke into the pop/reggae scene in 2009. Formed in 2007, starting with three guys in a backyard with a ukulele and a set of bongos, they played just for fun with family and friends. Before they knew it, they were performing locally bringing both a flavor and appeal to the masses.

March 20 Deja Vu
Deja Vu is a band that is sure to get you on your feet! They showcase strong vocal harmonies, tight musical arrangements, and professional showmanship. Deja Vu features 3 lead singers, and all members play multiple instruments. They have a playlist of over 200 songs, so they have something for the whole crowd to enjoy!

March 27 The Forrest Williams Band
Growing up in the hills of Arkansas, Forrest picked up the guitar when he was 14 years old and has been playing ever since. He grew up listening to Rock, Blues, Country, and Folk music from the 60's up to present day, which has influenced his songwriting. His style covers a variety of music, incorporating the acoustic guitar and the harmonica.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf Wednesday Night Concerts continue throughout spring, summer and fall.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf is affectionately known as the "heart and soul" of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. With more than 12 restaurants, 15 retail stores and several nightlife venues, it has become the gathering place for everyone visiting, living or working along the Emerald Coast.
