Big Daddy's Bike Shop is thrilled to welcome Zack Garner and Adam Smith to South Walton this week. The Green Beret Adventure Team is cycling 4,600 miles across America on their Ride to Valhalla to raise awareness about traumatic brain injuries and post traumatic stress in our military. Our friends at Big Daddy's are planning a heck of a party which will take place at the Bike Shop in Blue Mountain Beach on Friday, Oct. 30 from 1 - 5 p.m.

Sandro and Emily Wever are the husband and wife dream team behind Chanticleer Eatery. Since opening in June of 2012, they have shared their collective food vision with SoWal, and the result is a legion of loyal customers.
The couple met while working in a restaurant, so creating food together has always come naturally to them. And much like the ideal relationship, Chanticleer’s food is homey, satisfying, full of flavor, and sometimes spicy.
The latest real estate report for September 2015 includes statistics for single family homes in Walton County, Florida. Closed sales were up 4.4% for September compared to the same month last year. Cash sales were down 7%. One highlight is that there were no short sales for the first time in many years.
