Back for the second year at Pier Park in Panama City Beach is the Chili Vibrations World Music Festival, sponsored by SoWal.com. From the very first note played last year, it became one of our favorite area events, featuring live reggae (and world music), art, apparel, and a wide variety of food. The chili cookoff features an outstanding competition among teams from local restaurants and assorted citizen teams.

Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) is back with their season opener, Eleemosynary by renowned playwright Lee Blessing to be held at Grand Boulevard with several performances in October. The play examines the delicate relationship of three generations of women and features an all female cast of local and regional actresses.

The ESA is the largest amateur surfing association in the country. And our own local chapter of the North Gulf Florida region is the fastest growing district and second largest in the Southeast.
