Third graders throughout Okaloosa and Walton Counties filled the auditorium to capacity at South Walton High School on Tuesday, May 6 for Sinfonia Gulf Coast's Link Up performances, in partnership with Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute (WMI).
The Habitat for Humanity of Walton County ReStore was submerged in over two feet of standing water after severe weather impacted the area on April 29. The store was set to open for the first time next week in their new location off Hwy 393 South before record flooding impacted the area. All inventory is a total loss along with significant damage to the building. Unfortunately, the ReStore's insurance will not cover the flood damage sustained to the contents or building. Immediate resources and assistance are needed.

Seacoast Collegiate High School would like to invite community members, friends, and prospective students and their families to attend a special Informational Night on Wednesday, March 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in rooms 119 and 120. During Informational Night, guests will learn more about the high school and student academic plans in honors, dual enrollment, and advanced placement coursework. It’s time for the second Ladies That Lunch event at the Vue on 30a restaurant in Santa Rosa Beach on Friday, January 31, 2014 at noon.
