Sinfonia Celebrates 10 Years With Spectacular 2015-2016 Season

Keeping the tempo on the Emerald Coast’s cultural scene since its founding in 2005, Sinfonia Gulf Coast will mark its milestone 10th season as the region’s only fully-professional symphony orchestra by offering a stellar lineup of concerts and educational initiatives featuring the orchestra, world-renowned guest artists and a 10th anniversary gala event headlined by an Emmy and Tony Award-winning singer and actress.

Everyone likes to take a walk on the beach, but some of us have a real need to walk on the beach. We crave a connection with nature and feel the beach is a great place to do it. We don't just look at a dune and see a pretty sight. We see something that touches our souls. That's true of Russ Gilbert. He moved here over 20 years ago from nearby Chipley and hasn't regretted it for a second.

Seaside REP Theatre Presents Shipwrecked! The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as Told by Himelf)

The Seaside Repertory Theatre presents the 2015 summer production of Shipwrecked! An Entertainment - The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as Told by Himself). The play runs June-Sept. on the main stage at the Seaside Meeting Hall Theatre. Coastal Dune Lakes Documentary at Camp Helen State Park Jun 19

The Friends of Camp Helen State Park and Lake Powell Community Alliance will show a film about coastal dune lakes at 6:30 p.m. on June 19, 2015, at the Park’s Lodge.  The film “Coastal Dune Lakes: Jewels of Florida’s Emerald Coast” by Elam Stoltzfus and the Live Oak Production

Group focuses on the dune lakes of Northwest Florida, a project for which Stoltzfus spent the last year and a half.  The event is free and open to the public.  State Park entrance fees are waived.  Elam Stoltzfus will be present to discuss the film.
