The Telluride MountainFilm on Tour returns to WaterColor’s Marina Park Amphitheater on Nov. 7 and 8. Celebrating its 14th year, the outdoor film festival is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and motivating audiences about issues that matter. The films selected for the show will explore themes connected to MountainFilm’s mission of exploring cultures, preserving, environments, and promoting adventure.

Each year, a selection of films from the International Film Festival is taken on the road to reach audiences who otherwise would not have a chance to experience the festival.

The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation will present the 19th Annual Festival of the Arts on Oct. 25-26 at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin. One of the Southeast’s premier festivals, the event showcases the original artwork of more than 100 juried artists from across the U.S. who will compete for $10,000 in cash award prizes.   

History and music create a cultural crescendo on Nov. 1 at 7:30pm, as Sinfonia Gulf Coast presents the U.S. premiere of "Brothers in Arts: 70 Years of Liberty," a piece created by acclaimed composers Chris Brubeck and Guillaume Saint-James to commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
 

The schedule for South Walton Fashion Week (SWFW) 2014 is set for the week in October when glamor comes to the beach. The week’s festivities include a launch party, runway shows and style lounge with exclusive pop-up shops. A blend of national and local designers, in addition to emerging designers and local boutiques will show on the runway Thursday, Oct. 9 through Saturday, Oct. 11 in the fashion village at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin.

Opening night at The REP was a romp! The meeting hall, nestled in the heart of Seaside, evoked a charming ambiance where actors, musicians, members and guests all converged for A Beach Home Companion. The live variety show runs Thursdays and Fridays, Oct. 2-24 at 7:30 p.m. and features a homegrown music lineup not to be missed.

The annual Seaside Repertory Theatre Membership Party will once again be held at the beautiful Gulf front home, "Sea Sabella" in Seaside, Florida - sponsored by Sunburst Beach Vacations! The party is Oct. 7 and exclusively for members of The REP. Becoming a member is easy to do, starting with a donation of just $60.

Several South Walton boutiques will play host to an exciting array of trunk shows and parties during South Walton Fashion Week (SWFW). These trunk shows are in addition to the main SWFW events and runway shows to take place October 9-12 at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin.

The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) continues to celebrate the cultural arts by enhancing the offerings of its 19th Annual Festival of the Arts set for Oct. 25–26 at the scenic MKAF Cultural Arts Village in Destin, FL.
 

Sinfonia Gulf Coast is set to stir the senses with Seeing is Believing, the Northwest Florida orchestra’s ninth season, featuring an innovative lineup that will begin and end with vivid imagery set to music. The 2014-2015 program, continuing the nonprofit’s “symphony redefined” founding tradition, includes an array of world-renowned artists as well as two orchestral premiers.

Coming off the success of last year's inaugural event with an auction of Justin Gaffrey paintings, Food For Thought Outreach will have the Second Annual Art of Giving on SEPT 18 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Churchill Oaks Clubhouse, presented by Southern Fashion House and Summer House Lifestyle. But there's a twist for this year's fundraiser. Instead of one artist, the event will feature the works of three acclaimed local artists.
