Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) continues its 20th anniversary season of its Concerts in the Village summer series at the Cultural Arts Village in Destin by celebrating Military Appreciation Night - on Thursday, July 9. The special concert will feature The Mulligans — the Emerald Coast’s most popular band performing favorite dance tunes from the ‘60s and ‘70s. The gate opens at 6 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m.

The 27th annual ArtsQuest, traditionally slated for Mother's Day Weekend, is set to be a celebration of the arts with a French circus theme and entertainment for the whole family. The Merchants of Seaside will host the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group for a debut performance in the Seaside Amphitheater, Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. The one and a half hour show will include 30 Joffrey company members performing a variety of dances ranging from modern and jazz to classical ballet.
Justin Gaffrey, South Walton’s iconic self-taught acrylic artist, invites the public to a first-ever special event aptly titled ‘Metal, Paint & String’ on May 6 at 7pm at his gallery in Blue Mountain Beach. The event–named for the artist’s newfound materials as of late–is open to the public and will showcase a series of new contemporary works by Gaffrey.
Francisco Adaro came into this world an artist. Born in Buenos Aries, Argentina, he reveled in the ample inspiration provided by the surrounding culture and people. Francisco began drawing and painting as a child and at age 15 decided to sell his work on the street.
