The latest real estate report for July 2015 includes statistics for single family homes in Walton County, Florida. It looks like beach lovers were on the beach instead of the closing room. Closed sales were up just 5% for July compared to the same month last year. June 2015 closed sales were up 28% over June 2014.
The increase in closed sales was one of the smallest increases in awhile. And yet it was an increase, which continues the record hot streak for SoWal real estate. A statistic that jumps out is average sales price, which leaped 27%, as inventory continues to dwindle.

After a quick interview and photos at her new boutique at Uptown Grayton, we were starving and our creative juices were flowing. We did the usual, “Where do y’all want to go for lunch?” It's an easy decision when you're so close to "downtown" Grayton and The Red Bar.
