Point Washington Medical clinic is a donation-based clinic serving the SoWal community and has been overwhelmed with people seeking medical care and testing for COVID-19. Volunteers are needed NOW for a rewarding experience helping with all types of duties on clinic days - parking assistance, front desk, interpreters, health educators, nurses and health providers. Seaside’s Commercial beach experience will be different this summer. In past years we have encountered overwhelming crowds at our commercial beach creating a less-than-pleasant experience for most visitors.
Vacation Rentals in Walton County are now permitted, pursuant to the county’s safety plan, which includes cleaning guidelines. Vacation Rentals are now open in South Walton and other panhandle counties. Vacation rentals must follow the county's guidelines and are also subject to governor's orders that visitors from Louisiana, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut quarantine for a period of 14 days from the time of entry into the State of Florida or the duration of the person’s presence in the State of Florida, whichever is shorter.
