30A Wine Festival at Alys Beach March 6-8

Wine lovers will gather in Alys Beach for the fourth annual 30A Wine Festival on Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 8, 2015. Located on Scenic Highway 30A in Northwest Florida’s South Walton County, Alys Beach will welcome renowned vintners and local culinary favorites for a three-day celebration benefiting Children’s Volunteer Health Network. Visitors and gumbo-lovers from across the Southeast are expected to join in the festivities during the extended Presidents Day weekend. 

WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market is Open Sundays

The WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market is South Walton's newest open air market featuring a variety of local vendors with baked goods, produce, prepared foods, and crafts. The market takes place in beautiful Cerulean Park every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., year-round.
 
“We are very excited to introduce the WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market to the community and hope everyone can participate so we can make this a long-lasting tradition at WaterColor,” says WaterColor Community Manager, Brad Yuhas. 
 

Ring in the New Year with George's at Alys Beach

Bud & Alley's Pizza Bar Welcomes Executive Chef Phillip McDonald

Chef Phillip McDonald joins the Bud & Alley’s team as executive chef of The Pizza Bar in Seaside, Florida. McDonald, who was born and raised in Destin, recently returned to the Emerald Coast after a year honing his culinary skills with some of the best in the New York culinary scene, including a six-month stint as sous chef at Reynard in the Wythe Hotel.
