The perfect Pairing: Seaside and Kokomo Winery

Seaside has announced a new, private-label collection of hand-selected wines from Kokomo Winery. The new family of wines, called the Seaside Wine Project, was hand-picked by Seaside founders Robert and Daryl Davis in response to the continual interest and demand from patrons and visitors for the best-tasting and highest-quality wines. After taste-testing numerous varieties from various wineries, the choice was made to form a partnership with Kokomo Winery in Sonoma, Calif.

George’s at Alys Beach, Ann and George Hartley’s casual dining spot on Florida’s scenic Highway 30A, warmly welcomes Darek Tidwell as executive chef. Tidwell, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), will oversee all kitchen operations and introduce a new menu that elevates George’s regional coastal fare while preserving the staples loyal guests have come to know and love.

Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s annual fundraising weekend returns to New Orleans on November 7 and 8, 2014.  Premier chefs from across the nation and New Orleans will descend upon downtown for a two-day culinary celebration, featuring the Louisiana-inspired outdoor festival Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s Boudin, Bourbon & Beer and wine auction and black tie gala dinner Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s Carnivale du Vin.

Seagrove Village Market Café Is A Happy Beach Tradition

When George and Ann Hartley bought the Seagrove Village Market Café in July 1999, they knew they were buying a piece of history and pledged to maintain the Seagrove tradition that has kept hungry beach lovers coming back year after year.

“Back in the early days, the market not only offered up great fried food and burgers, but also served as the grocery store for the community,” says Ann.
