With its ninth annual season Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) presents 14 (and counting) reasons to escape to the theater to have a laugh and be entertained.

On September 9th, the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) kicks off the 2021 Fall Concerts in the Village series with a fan favorite, the Velcro Pygmies, and ends the 26th season with the showstopping, The Heather Hayes Experience.

Formerly known as Paddle at the Porch, now in its 9th year, the annual event is moving to Henderson Beach State Park in Destin and getting a name change - Paddle at the Park Sponsored by Destin ER. Held on Aug. 21, 2021, it features 1- and 3-mile recreational races and a 6-mile elite race, to be followed by awards, food & fun! Also, they are welcoming two new categories in the 3-mile race: kayaks and inflatables.

The beach is a wash and the sun is taking a vacation - what to do on a rainy day in South Walton, Florida when the kids are restless and you're looking for indoor activities?

As the old one-story dune cottages of yesteryear disappear, a few are still available to lucky visitors to South Walton. Beach Baby is one of the few that remain on the beach in Seagrove, and holds all the old charm and memories of the SoWal past.

Art Month South Walton, an initiative led by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) and sponsored in part by Visit South Walton, is a month-long celebration of the Arts featuring events and programs presented in locations throughout Walton County.

The annual CCA South Walton Kids Fishing Tournament takes place on Sunday April 18th at Grayton Beach, Florida. Sponsored by the Coastal Conversation Association Florida, the fun begins at 12:00 p.m.  Online registration is open.
