Smoke on the Coast BBQ & Fireworks at Destin Commons July 3

The 9th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ & Fireworks Festival takes place Wednesday, July 3 at Destin Commons and this year is expected to be bigger and better than ever! Family fun activities include live music and entertainment, BBQ sampling, face painting, photo booth, and the highly anticipated, Independence Day firework extravaganza. Through the Destin Commons Coins for a Cause initiative, 18 local charities team up with various restaurants and BBQ aficionados, for over $85,000 in donations.

Mac & Cheese Festival to Benefit The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast at Destin Commons May 19

Attention foodies: the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast (BGCEC) is hosting a new, mouthwatering event just for you!

Our area’s first-ever Mac & Cheese Festival is on Sunday, May 19 at Destin Commons. Featuring gourmet, chef-inspired twists on the South’s favorite comfort food, this family-friendly event will pit the area’s favorite restaurants against one another in a competition to see who has the best mac on the Emerald Coast.

ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival Headlines Art Month During May

The 31st annual ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival, a Mother’s Day weekend tradition, takes place May 11-12 at Grand Boulevard in South Walton, Florida. Produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, ArtsQuest provides an opportunity to view and purchase original art from over 200 artists from around the country while also experiencing live musical entertainment, ImagiNation (where kids rule), student exhibits and great food & beverage options in the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. 

Camp Longleaf Offers Overnight Summer Camp at E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center

Learning and having fun go hand-in-hand this summer at the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center’s newest program, Camp Longleaf.

The week-long, overnight camp is designed for children ages 9-14, and enrollmet is open for three introductory sessions: June 9-14, June 16-21, June 23-28. Camp Longleaf will incorporate the Biophilia Center’s passion for nature with traditional camp fun and games.

12th Annual 30A St. Patrick's Parade March 16

The 12th Annual 30A St. Patrick's Parade is set for 3pm on March 16th, 2019. The free-to-enter parade anticipates a record number of floats and parade entries, in all shapes and sizes. The parade begins on Florida Scenic Highway 30A near "The Preserve" just west of Grayton Beach and heads 4 miles west, ending at Gulf Place.
