Sandestin has announced its festivities, food and fun offered during the most wonderful time of the year, and the opportunity to give thanks in paradise this holiday season.

On Thanksgiving Day, November 28, Sandestin is offering a huge Thanksgiving Brunch at the Linkside Center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Enjoy stunning views of the bay plus a mouthwatering assortment food. Sandestin’s award-winning culinary team presents a delicious collection of Holiday favorites.

On Thursday, November 28, from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Harbor Docks invites family, friends, locals and tourists to join the celebration and enjoy a traditional, home-style Thanksgiving Day meal.

The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) will host the 18th Annual Festival of the Arts on Oct. 26-27, 2013. One of the Southeast's premier art festivals, the event features more than 100 juried artists competing for cash prizes. Previously held at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, Fla., the anticipated annual event is moving a mile north to the recently enhanced Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village. 

World Paddle For The Planet 2013 is a four-day eco-educational fundraiser festival culminating with a 24-hour paddle on beautiful Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in the State of Florida and designated a "Pristine Florida Waterway".  Festival events will be held in Carillon Beach and Camp Helen State Park October 10-13, 2013.

Harbor Docks is hosting its 19th Annual Take-A-Kid-Fishing Day on Sunday, November 3, 2013, and has 350 openings for children and chaperones.
 
For the past 18 years, Harbor Docks has taken hundreds of underprivileged children out for a free day of fishing. The majority of these kids have never been out on the water. After an exciting day of fishing, Harbor Docks treats the families to a fish fry to celebrate. Last year 57 of Destin’s finest charter boats offered their services to take the children out for a fun day of fishing.

The first weekend of October is almost here and people on the Emerald Coast know what that means - it’s time for a great weekend on the Destin Harbor celebrating the annual Destin Seafood Festival! From Friday Oct. 4th to Sunday Oct. 6th, the Destin Harbor Boardwalk will be the center of the party that locals look forward to every year.

Comprised of six stages, the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam is a debut country music festival coming to Panama City Beach September 26-28. The festival is a three-day celebration of sun, fun and country music.

Celebrate the new school year at the biggest Back to School Backpack Bash on Friday, September 13, 2013. Hosted by Abrakadoodle Remarkable Art Education, this family friendly event is open to the public and will take place at the Abrakadoodle studio at the Destin Commons from 3:30-5:00 p.m.
 

Come out and join beach-loving locals and the Walton County Tourist Development Council for the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup 2013 on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. We all can do our part to help keep Walton County’s beaches clean and pristine.
