Sandestin Gumbo Festival Feb 23-24
The Sandestin Gumbo Festival takes place in The Village of Baytowne Wharf on Feb 23rd & 24th. The event is a beloved local winter tradition in South Walton, Florida. Featuring gumbo tasting throughout The Village as well as a bloody mary competition and live music. This year’s event is promising to serve up fun for everyone.

10th Annual Polar Bear Plunge Jan 1
Rinse off the old and welcome the new! South Walton Fire District will hold its 10th Annual Polar Bear Plunge on New Year’s Day at Ed Walline Public Beach Access.
In-person sign-up starts at 11 a.m. at Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar on January 1, 2024, which will be followed by a costume contest at 12 p.m., and the Plunge itself at 1 p.m.
Coastal White Christmas Events At Grand Boulevard
Grand Boulevard at Sandestin has an impressive line-up of events for this holiday season.
Included this year are Grand Boulevard’s signature holiday celebrations, Coastal White Christmas Holiday Celebration and Hometown Parade, and numerous festive, family-friendly activities. These events are open to the public at no cost.
