Annual Valentine Tour of Homes Opens Doors Feb 15-16

Valentine’s weekend typically means romantic dinners and flowers for most, but it also signals the beloved annual Valentine Tour of Homes hosted by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA). The tour showcases stunning interiors, architecturally acclaimed homes and picturesque settings on Saturday, Feb.15 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m and Sunday, Feb. 16 from 12 – 4 p.m.

ResortQuest Real Estate recently announced the November top producers for its offices from Perdido Key to Panama City Beach, FL. Joe Porter of the Destin office received highest honors for top closed sales and Rick and Dale Martinez of the Miramar Beach office received highest honors for top closed listings out of more than 100 ResortQuest realtors.
 

South Walton Real Estate Report for Oct 2013

The latest real estate report for October 2013 in Walton County shows some interesting statistics compared to the same month last year - cash sales are up and so is inventory. It's been awhile since we've seen inventory rise compared to the same month compared to the previous year. Not really surprising given the number of sellers who see a hot market and are looking to cash in, also the high amount of building and spec homes under construction.

The latest real estate statistics for September 2013 in Walton County show continued improvement – sales are up, prices are up, inventory is lower - the number of months of available inventory is once again down, from 10.6 to 9.1.
