Dead Fish Charters

Captain Larry Pentel is a native of South Walton, growing up just 300 yards from the beach. Having fished the local waters for over forty years he is very familiar with all the fish populations, their habits and most importantly - their habitats. The finest Snapper and Grouper fishing found anywhere, sight- fishing Cobia along the sandbar or spectacular Tarpon fishing at Indian Pass are all part of the seasonal experiences provided by Captain Larry.

The history of fishing the Gulf waters off of Grayton Beach is rich with color. Beginning in the late 1800s, early settlers and visitors to the area would roll their wooden boats across the beach on pine logs and row out to the inshore reefs to catch Red Snapper and Grouper.

Today, fishermen fishing local waters for the first time are amazed at how close inshore Grouper and Snapper can be found. Captain Larry launches right off the sand at Grayton Beach for two to five hour trips. He'll help you load the coolers and clean your catch.
