Caliza Receives Top Honors for Dining Experience

Caliza Restaurant at Alys Beach, now open for the season, has received the Diners’ Choice Award as a result of being voted by diners as a top-rated restaurant experience.

The unique open-air restaurant and bar has received top honors in several categories for the Northwest Florida region: best overall dining experience, best food, best service, best ambiance, best outdoor dining, romantic atmosphere, and other top foodie ratings. The OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award lists are a celebration of top-rated restaurants.

Caliza Restaurant serves cocktails and dinner Tuesday - Saturday, 5:30 p.m. til 9:00 p.m. The restaurant is now taking reservations for Easter Sunday Brunch (April 21 from 10:00 a.m. til 2:00 p.m.) with pricing for adults and children (reservations required!). 

Caliza Restaurant in Alys Beach serves contemporary American cuisine in a relaxed, al fresco setting overlooking Caliza’s stunning pool. The dinner menu changes seasonally, ranging from adventurous items like Crispy Spanish Octopus to menu staples like the Grilled Beef Tenderloin and Clam and Mussel Linguini. This mix of new and classic dishes makes Caliza a favorite among returning visitors.

Caliza’s open-air bar is the perfect spot for happy hour, offering craft cocktails designed for poolside sipping and a thoughtfully curated list of craft beers and wines by-the-glass. Happy Hour features some creative cocktails in the mix, like the Porch Sipper with peach tea-infused whiskey and lemonade. Small plates like whipped feta with local Honey, marcona almonds and naan bread are on special during Happy Hour, along with specials on wine and beer. Happy Hour is served at the bar Tuesday – Saturday from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.  

 While Caliza is closed to the public during the day, Caliza Restaurant will be open to the public in the evenings for cocktails and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday (open 5:30 p.m.).
