Serve2Cure Tennis Fundraiser & Tournament October 6 at Sandestin

Sandestin Tennis is ready to serve the community with a fun event to help raise funds for breast cancer. Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort today announced its Annual Serve2Cure Tennis Tournament to be held this October 6 at the Sandestin Tennis Center in Destin, FL, from 8:30am to 2:00pm.

The goal of this breast cancer fundraising tournament is to assist underserved breast cancer patients with much needed support through the Breast Cancer program at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. The Oncology Department of Sacred Heart Hospital is the only treatment center in the Emerald Coast area that will accept non-insured patients.

A new path is being paved as the Sandestin Tennis Center leads the way with its commitment and dedication to breast cancer awareness and support for individuals in need.

“The passion of the tennis staff, combined with loyal guests and members and the local community make this a winning cause and effort,” said Todd Hanson, director of Sandestin Tennis. “We are playing for our mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, wives, best friends, and neighbors.”

Players and guests alike are invited to participate in a variety of fun filled activities from 8:30am to 2:00pm on Oct. 6. The event will include breakfast, men and women round robin tournament play, fastest serve contest, silent auction items, lunch, and much more.

Serve2Cure is proudly partnering with Proffitt PR for their upcoming Girls’ Night Out on Sept. 27 aboard The Solaris, with 150 leading ladies of the Emerald Coast in attendance. Girls’ Night Out aboard The Solaris will feature a large silent auction, a Proffitt PR client gift basket raffle, live music, hor d’oeuvres, a champagne toast, multiple photographers to capture the evening, and a takeaway bag for each woman in attendance.

Last year, the Serve2Cure Tennis Tournament raised $15,500.
