9/11 Heroes Run 5K at WaterColor Resort Sept 28

Run, Volunteer, Donate, Cheer. But most of all HONOR. Join WaterColor Resort for the 9/11 Hero’s Run 5k which will start on WaterColor Beach, travel through Grayton State Park and end in WaterColor Resort Marina Park. September 28, 2013, 8am.

The 9/11 Heroes Run 5k welcomes runners and walkers of all levels and of all ages. Events take place all over the world, on or near September 11th, and are 100% organized by local community volunteers. It is the perfect opportunity for your community to personally come out and thank your local veterans, their families, and first responders in an annual, fun, and family friendly environment. Proceeds benefit Travis Manion Foundation.

Register online by September 1 to be guaranteed a race shirt aned finisher's dogtag. Shirts and dogtags will be given out on a first come, first served basis to race-day registrants. Cost is $20, Family of 4, $60.

The 9/11 Heroes Run unites communities internationally with the goal to never forget the sacrifies of the heroes of September 11th and the wars since: veteran, first responder, civilian, and military. Join us to raise awareness and honor the fallen.
