Hats for Hope Luncheon & Fashion Show to Benefit Shelter House March 16
March 8, 2013 by SoWal Staff
The Destin Woman’s Club proudly presents Hats for Hope, a fashion show and luncheon showcasing the latest fashions from the Emerald Coast’s trendiest boutiques. The event will begin at 11am on Saturday, March 16 at the Linkside Ballroom at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort with proceeds benefiting Shelter House, the domestic violence center serving Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
The grand ballroom will be transformed into a delightful garden party, and attendees are encouraged to get in the spirit by wearing straw hats. The fashion show will feature styles from Apricot Lane, Beach Bums Resort Wear, Hugs and Hissy Fits, Ivey Boutique, Kiki Risa, Men’s Wearhouse, Orvis, Stein Mart, Today’s Boutique, Threads, Coco & Company, M. Cline Designs, Boca Boutique and Boca Galleri. All guests will have the opportunity to see the fashions up close as the models pass by every table in the ballroom.
More than $20,000 in goods and services will be available through silent auctions and Raffle Row. Guests will vie for resort packages, jewelry, pet gifts, massages, spa services and much more.
Prior to lunch, guests will be invited to bid as a complete table of 10 on the club’s renowned Designer Table, designed by Lynn Lake. This table will include 10 delightful gift bags valued at more than $400 — plus, one lucky person at that table will go home with the grand prize.
Tickets are available for purchase at Today’s Boutique in Destin, P.S. Gifts in Fort Walton Beach and Bayou Books in Niceville as well as online. Tickets are $45.
