South Walton Smells Fishy

The past two weeks we've had some wonderful weather here at the beach.

Warm, sunny and calm with no crowds, it's times like this that makes you remember why you live here!

Alas, all good things come to end and it started blowing pretty dang hard out of the NE yesterday morning and the forecast is for that wind to continue for most of the week. No big surf on the beach (yet) but I sure wouldn't want to be two miles offshore in a 23 knot wind.

Finest Fresh Seafood & Much More at Destin Ice Market 30A

Did you hear that? South Walton has sounded a siren call for seafood lovers.

Thanks to local entrepreneurs Pamela and Tim Wellborn you can now find the bounty of the “world’s luckiest fishing village” just inside the welcoming doors of Destin Ice Market 30A in Inlet Beach.

The SoWal location of Destin’s famed seafood shop offers the same quality fresh Gulf seafood as the original, but is much larger with more room for amazing edibles, gourmet gifts and culinary delights.
