With so many vacation rental choices in South Walton, and so many vacation rental companies, it  can be difficult to decide where to place your trust.

Single family closed sales were up 13% for May compared to the same month last year. The number of pending sales for Walton County was up 4%. Inventory was down 3.5%, a rare drop. Median sales price was up a sizable 10%. Dollar volume was up 22% over last year at $180.6 Million!

The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) announces the launch of its newest program for children, Creative Kids Camp, a series of four-day visual arts camp sessions that will give primary and elementary children a different hands-on experience each week.

Red Snapper are the main item on just about everybody's fishing list this time of the year.

We are catching a few Groupers, Kings, Vermillions, Mahi, etc., but the main target and desire for most of my anglers are those coveted big Red Snaps. While there do not seem to be a record number of Red Snappers around there have been more than a few really nice ones and some that by any standards are just plain big.
